In the framework of the Autumn Festival Con Son-Kiep Bac 2015,
28/9 morning, at Lake Kiep Bac national relic of special Kunshan-Kiep
Bac took place Opening Festival Hai Duong Water Puppet Fifth
Festival brings together more than 50 artists of puppet 3 wards in the
province are: Qinghai (Thanh Ha), Hong Phong (Ninh Giang), Bui Thuong
(Gia Loc). Each contribution puppetry guilds 12-15 performances.
At the festival, many unique repertoire was performed as Teu spear
head, leaf burning dragon problem, opportunity to contract, the Hoan
Kiem Lake area, my village festival, bullfighting, the frogs, the
village festival, dancing phoenix , dragon dance, invite betel … first,
focused on the themes: agriculture, handicraft, traditional, community
and cultural activities …
Water puppetry was born more than 10 centuries ago, with a control
pole, with rods or wire, the main stage is the water pond. Puppets
substitution that represent real game area. Water puppetry Hai Duong
Province have been recognized as cultural heritage of national
intangible 2012.
Festival is an opportunity to advertise to people and tourists cross
the cultural tradition of Eastern origin and the typical value of the
Fall Festival Con Son-Kiep Bac.
The more meaningful than when the Fall Festival was held this year
just in time for Hai Duong province is actively with Quang Ninh, Bac
Giang build dossiers requesting UNESCO relic Con Son-Kiep Bac in relics
and scenic Yen Tu is a World Heritage Site.
Festival is also an opportunity to honor those collectives and
individuals directly involved in preserving and promoting the value of
water puppetry in the province, education and awareness of staff and
people in preserving , transmission and promotion of water puppetry.
